Fall Photos of the McL's!

I had the pleasure of taking the family photos of some friends of ours!

I've never photographed 6 people at once... it was a new exciting chalange, but the fact that all these folks are so good lookin' helped!

Capturing a Munchkin.

With Silas there are lost of great photo ops... as long as I can manage to get him in the frame! He's usually so wiggly & fast!

Confessions of a Copy-Cat.

Sometimes (I hate to admit) I find myself taking that photo that has already been taken 1000 times by 1000 other people. But it is just such a darn nice/cute/pretty shot I take in anyway.

How generic of me. Maybe I can get a job taking photos for a company that sells frames. You know, so my photos can be the one in the center of the next 8X10 black frame you pic up at Walmart.

Every once in a while...

...you get that photo that captures a person or a moment perfectly.

This has always been my favorite picture of my Dad. it was taken on a beach on the Persian Gulf in March '06. We were all walking on this gorgeous deserted beach that was coated in sea life that had been washed ashore. Dad wondered down the coast as Dan, Star, and I rested on some rocks for a bit.

To me, this picture captures everything I think of when I think of my Dad.

Bring on the Colour!

I have always been on a quest for bright colours. In any of my travels or just here around Red Deer, I love finding the most colourful spot in the scene I'm in.

I think it is because these kinds of photos have always had a cheery feel to them.

The Star of the Show.

Okay, I'm getting it out of my system now. I'm going to have to work really hard to not make my photography blog the "Silas Show." But my camera can't get enough of this little guy.
